You Will See It After You Believe It

As I was reading through today's Bible reading plan (our church is reading through the Bible together), I ran across this verse, which I have run across a whole bunch of times in the past, but today, through various circumstances in my life, God allowed me to see something I had not noticed before.
"Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”" -John 20:24-25
You know, I'm pretty sure there was a time in my life that I was right where Thomas was, and as with all things in life, hindsight is 20/20 (just wish I was a little better at utilizing foresight). If we could see, if we could put our finger where the nail was, if we could put our hand into his side, believing would indeed be easier. But we can't.
In hindsight, what I can tell you is that when I believed, I could see. I know it seems counterintuitive, but by experience, I can tell you that you will see it after you believe it.
